Chapter 1

What you are selling

Before you sell anything, you need one sentence you can say without thinking. Here it is, with the evidence behind it drawn from the product as it is built today.

The sentence

TeamTalk gets a notice to every worker on site in their own language, and proves who read it.

  • Workers sign in with a phone number. No email, no app store, no IT.
  • Every post is translated automatically into each worker's language.
  • Must-reads need a tap to confirm. You get a list of who has and hasn't, and a printable record.
  • Workers can report a hazard back with a photo in under a minute.

What it does, in the buyer's words

What it is not (yet)

The one-line positioning against each alternative

AgainstSay
WhatsApp"Free, until the ICO asks for the record, a leaver keeps the group, or the Romanian crew never saw it. TeamTalk is the same speed with a record, a leaver switch and translation."
Microsoft Teams / Viva Engage"Built for people with a desk and a work email. Your site teams have neither."
Blink"Blink is a good product and it does mandatory reads too. It does not do video captions, QR onboarding of a whole site, or a price without an add-on for reporting, and it is not hosted in the UK. If you have 5,000 staff and an internal comms team, look at Blink; if you have sites, look at us."
Staffbase / Workvivo"Enterprise intranet-in-an-app: £20k+ a year, 90 days to go live, and Workvivo has no read acknowledgement at all. Built for head office, not the site."
Paper toolbox-talk sign-offs"Same evidence, in every language, chased automatically, searchable in a year."
